Fees and Charges

We offer 2 types of hearing assessments.

We offer Free* hearing tests and hearing aids to eligible pensioners through the Government Hearing Services Program.

Basic Hearing Screening

Free

Basic Hearing Screening. We will perform a pure tone test in our state of the art sound booth. During this test, you will hear a series of beeps, to which you respond by pressing a button. This test is sufficient to determine if further comprehensive testing with more specialised equipment is required.

**Please note, a hearing test can not be performed with Ear Wax in the canal. We do Ear Wax Microsuctioning at an additional cost. Should we discover wax occluding the canal during the Video Otoscopy (viewing the canal with a specialised camera, displayed on wall mounted screen), we may be able to remove it on the day if time permits. The test may need to be rescheduled.

Not for children under 16years. We recommend a Comprehensive Hearing Assessment for children under 16 years of age

No report. We will discuss your results with you verbally. A basic  report can be requested at an additional $50.
